As this is my first post, I would like to brief you a little about this blog..
I like to cook and serve new dishes and try my hands on various recipes. Whenever I wish to make something different other than our day to day food, I google always and get confused about which recipe to follow. Afterall, it's always a trial and error situation. Sometimes the items turn really outstanding, sometimes ok types and sometimes a disaster.
When I come out with later 2 cases, I keep that in mind and next time modify the same. And most importantly, note the successful method in a diary or in my smartphone..
My mind is always full of doubts, like
1. where to place the baking tray while making cookies/cakes- in the bottom slot or middle one.
2. What is the difference between brown sugar, granulated sugar and caster sugar? Do they make difference in the taste of the food? Same with normal salt and black salt.
3. Why should we refrigerate the nankatai/cookie dough before rolling and putting in the oven?
Etc etc...
These small things are not mentioned in the recipes we go through.
The main purpose of this blog is to make my trials available to all those who are having similar issues. I will try to post my dishes with minute details as well as my experiences while preparing the same.
I hope you guys like whatever I write here and make these dishes for your near and dear ones..
